DATING ADVICE FOR WOMEN: STOP LISTENING TO YOUR GIRLFRIENDS

woman talking about a man 150x150 DATING ADVICE FOR WOMEN: STOP LISTENING TO YOUR GIRLFRIENDSIt’s simple. Stop listening to your friends. This is the best dating advice for women in today’s society. After every dating experience, women have the need to analyze their date with their girlfriends. Trust me, this is a very bad idea. In order to be successful at dating, you have to stop listening to your friends. If your friend is encouraging you to be confident or helping you pick out something classy to wear, this is fine. However, if you’re on the phone replaying every detail to your girlfriends as if it were a movie, then you’re on the wrong track.

Start listening to yourself. As a woman you already have all the intuition that you need; you just have to acknowledge it. Since your friend was not on a date with you that night, there is no way that they can give you good advice about the things that happened during your date.

For instance I recall watching the movie “He’s Just Not That Into You” and being totally confused the whole time. I was confused because the women in the moving were giving each other bad advice. Thus causing really embarrassing moments. Can you imagine taking the advice of a friend and allowing it to ruin any chance you have with this great guy? Sucks!

Just to be clear, I’m not insinuated that you should disregard all advice ever given to you by a friend. On the contrary, I have great friends who actually give good advice…most of the time. But let’s stick to the facts. If you are out on a date with a man, your friends are probably not going to be there. Unless, you videotape your whole date, there is no way for them to give substantial commentary about what his expressions actually meant during those awkward moments. Instead, why not ask your date at that time. If you want to know the truth, the answer is sitting right in front of you…him!

Now here is a practical solution. The next time you go on a date, try to wait at least two whole days before mentioning your date to a friend. This way, you would have most likely spoken with the guy by this time and these would be very little of uncertainty about how the date actually went. Therefore, when you’re friends ask “so how did the date go?” You can reply by telling them that it went very well and you plan on going out again. Simple fix.

Remember, trust yourself! You don’t need a second opinion. There’s nothing wrong with discussing all the wonderful things that you saw in the museum while on your date. However, your business is not your ‘friends’ business.
